| “Community For Art” A Benefit for Daniel Oberti Sunday June 28TH 4-7 PM Daniel’s Studio & Gardens 3798 Twig Avenue, Sebastopol Daniel Oberti, our special friend and fellow artist, devoted his life to art & gave generously to the community. Just prior to his passing it was his wish to host a benefit to help defray the expenses of his illness and to bring his community together to share a special day of art & celebration. In his words, “Art Saves Lives!” His family & friends would like to honor Daniel by moving forward with this wish & to bring his benefit to fruition on June 28th. Here is how you can help. Please join us and buy some art! If you do not find a piece of art that you are interested in, but would still like to contribute please consider purchasing a t-shirt at the benefit. Daniel designed this t-shirt and they will be available for a donation of $20. Our silent auction art includes personal works chosen and graciously donated from the following artists: Pat Faulkes, Anna Maria Gonzalez, Mel Ingebritson, Linda Ratztlaff, Allen Ross Hicks, Mari Philo, Carol Watanabe, Glenna Elliott, Mikio Kondo, Chuck Quibell, Jacqueline Mallegni, Alan Azhderian, Kathleen Hanna, Sussana Biaggi, Bonita Cohen, Karen Winograde, Roger de la Rosa, Ann Winship, Marsha Connell and Joel Bennett. Don Watanabe & his band SWING STREET have offered to play music for the celebration. His friends & family have lovingly maintained Daniel’s studio and gardens and would like to share this special space with you.
