Contemporary painters Robert Percy and John Anderson each worked as studio assistants for Gordon Onslow Ford, who was the youngest - and last surviving - member of the 1930s Paris Surrealist group associated with André Breton All three of these accomplished painters have addressed themes of perceptual consciousness and the spiritual impulse in their work. This special exhibit will announce the re-opening date for Calabi Gallery, formerly located in Petaluma but now located in Santa Rosa, CA. We are happy to join forces in order to show this important part of history in the art of the Bay Area.
